Trips & Rates
I offer small‑group salmon and waterfowl trips for 1–2 guests, with room for a third on certain hunts. I run an 18’ Wooldridge with an outboard jet, which lets us readily reach tucked‑away water and marsh edges.
I guide Monday through Friday to give you the best possible experience — weekdays on the Skagit mean less pressure, more access, and better opportunity. For 2026, I may have a limited number of weekend dates for clients who need the flexibility.
Some notes for when you schedule a trip:
A $100 non‑refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your trip.
You may reschedule up to 7 days before your trip. Inside 7 days, rescheduling may be possible on a conditional basis.
You may upgrade from a single‑person trip to a two‑person trip at any time — you simply pay the multi‑person rate.
If I need to cancel due to weather, unsafe river conditions, or personal circumstances, we’ll move your trip to another open date or to the following season. If we can’t find a new date that works, your deposit will be refunded.
All rates include card processing fees and sales tax. What you see is what you pay — no surprises and nothing added on at the end of your trip.
Waterfowl
One Hunter - $300, Two Hunters - $500
This is a premier waterfowl hunt in the lower Skagit marshes—a true wetland hunt. These hunts offer excellent opportunities for mallards, pintail, wigeon, and teal, and provide a style of waterfowling you really have to experience. For full details on how I hunt birds, please see the Waterfowl page.
2026 Season: October 17 - January 31
Salmon
One Angler - $300, Two Anglers - $500
I guide salmon trips throughout the Skagit River, targeting whatever species is in season and fishing well — coho, pinks, kings or sockeye. All tackle and gear are provided. See below for seasons if you’re looking for a particular fish. You can always reach out and ask what we should go for!
2026 Seasons:
Chinook: May 16 - July 15
Sockeye: June 16 - July 31
Coho: August 16 - October 31
Sockeye After-Work Special: Get out for a discounted after-work fishing trip! $350 for up to 3 anglers. Trip starts at 6:00pm (or whenever you are all off work) and runs until dark.
Trout
One Angler - $200, Two to Three Anglers - $300
This is a relaxed, family‑friendly trout fishery that consistently produces good stringers of trout. It’s ideal for kids, new anglers, or anyone looking for a simple, enjoyable day on the water.
I support kids and families fishing. If you have a fourth person who is a child, we’ll get them out.
