Custom HDPE Tanks

I can build tanks to any size or shape using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheets. You may specify as many or as few ports in any location and size you desire.  My tanks include full baffles for both support and to mitigate sloshing, a feature not available in most molded tanks.  Every thank is welded inside and out, with the exception of the top (welded outside only).

These tanks are not limited to being used solely in boats. They may find service in industry, vehicles, households, or commercial applications. The material is FDA-approved for food and water contact.

Customization

Simply give me your desired shape and dimensions and I can build you a tank. Very large and/or odd shaped are achievable. I can build round/cylindrical tanks using HDPE pipe. As these are hand-built, expect a slight tolerance in dimensions.

You pick the quantity and location of all fittings.

Tabs, brackets, and flanges that fit your needs for mounting can be integrated directly into the tank’s design.

Tanks can be pre-plumbed with fittings and valves.

Materials

Standard material is natural-color (semi-opaque white) HDPE. This is preferable as it allows visual inspection of fluid level. Many solid colors are available. Please consult with me if you prefer to upgrade to a custom color.

Material thickness will vary between 1/4” and 3/4”, based off tank dimensions, volume and intended use.

Available tank ports (All NPTF threaded): 1/2”, 3/4” 1”, 1-1/2”, 2”, 3”, 4”.

Ordering

Contact me to discuss your needs and to place an order. If possible, have ready outside dimensions and all pertinent measurements. You may send me a drawing (PDF or hand drawn is fine). Specify port sizes and locations.

A 30% deposit is required to secure materials and to have the tank put into production.

Shipping

Shipping charges will vary depending on final weight and dimensions of the tank(s), and will be assessed prior to delivery. Smaller tanks will ship via parcel services, when possible. Large tanks will ship via freight.

I will happily provide free local delivery within 30 miles for tanks up to 100 gallons and within 60 miles for all tanks over 100 gallons.
