Guided Salmon & Waterfowl Trip Rates

I offer private guided salmon and waterfowl trips for 1–2 guests on the Skagit River. I run an 18’ Wooldridge with an outboard jet. It is a very stable platform that is spacious for its size and lets us reach tucked‑away water and shallow runs with ease.

I guide Monday through Friday to give you the strongest possible days on the Skagit — lighter pressure, better access, and more opportunity. I do keep a limited number of weekend dates open to guiding for guests who need the flexibility.

Some notes for when you schedule a trip with me:

  • Deposit policy: A $100 deposit is required to secure your date. The deposit is refundable if canceled at least 14 days before your trip.

  • Solo guests: Solo guests are always welcome. If another guest books the same date and you’re both comfortable sharing the boat, you’ll each receive the two‑person rate.

  • Guide‑initiated cancellations: If I need to cancel due to weather, unsafe river conditions, or personal circumstances, we’ll move your trip to another open date or to the following season. If we can’t find a date that works, your deposit will be refunded.

  • Youth participation: I support youth involvement in the outdoors. When conditions allow, I may make an exception for a third participant under 18 at no extra charge — my way of helping the next generation get started.

  • Rates: All rates include sales tax and are for the 2026/2027 season. What you see is what you pay — no surprises and nothing added at the end of your trip.

Waterfowl

One Hunter - $300, Two Hunters - $450

A premier waterfowl hunt in the lower Skagit marshes. Excellent opportunities for mallards, pintail, wigeon, and teal, and provide a style of waterfowling you really have to experience.

2026 Season: October 17 - January 31

Salmon

One Angler - $300, Two Anglers - $450

A top-notch salmon trip on the Skagit River, targeting whatever species is in season and fishing well — coho, pinks, kings or sockeye. You can always reach out and ask what we should go for!

2026 Seasons:

  • Chinook: May 16 - July 15

  • Sockeye: June 16 - July 31

  • Coho: August 16 - October 31

Humpy Special - $250 for 2 Anglers: A fast, fun trip for pinks (humpies) where the action and limits come quick. Odd years only with multiple trips offered throughout the day. Most trips run two hours, and you can typically expect plenty of fish. These trips are always available on weekends.

Trout

One Angler - $200, Two to Three Anglers - $300

A relaxed, family‑friendly trout fishery on a local lake that consistently produces good stringers of trout. It’s ideal for kids, new anglers, or anyone looking for a simple, enjoyable day on the water. Multiple trips are offered per day. Trout trips run for a few short weeks in April and May and are always available on weekends.‍

Afternoon Standby Trip: During open salmon seasons, trout/panfish trips may be available on a standby basis when morning salmon trips finish early. Text or call after 11am to confirm availability.
