Guided Salmon & Waterfowl trips

One Hunter - $300, Two Hunters - $450

A premier waterfowl hunt in the lower Skagit marshes. Excellent opportunities for mallards, pintail, wigeon, teal, with opportunity at a variety of other birds, offering a style of waterfowling you truly have to experience.

2026 Season: October 17 - January 31

One Angler - $300, Two Anglers - $450

A salmon trip on the Skagit River, targeting whatever species is in season and fishing well — coho, pinks, kings or sockeye. You can always reach out and ask what we should go for.

2026 Seasons:

  • Chinook: May 16 - July 15

  • Sockeye: June 16 - July 31

  • Coho: August 16 - October 31

Humpy Special - $300 for 1-2 Anglers: A fast, high‑action trip for pinks (humpies) where limits often come quick. A good day sees limits within an hour. Available August and September of odd years only when the humpies are in thick, I offer this shorter trip with multiple departures throughout the day.

One Angler - $200, Two to Three Anglers - $300

A relaxed, family‑friendly trout fishery on a local lake that consistently produces good stringers of trout. It’s ideal for kids and new anglers. Trout trips run for a few short weeks in April and May before the main salmon seasons start.

Trip Notes

Some notes for when you schedule a trip with me:

  • Trips on Monday through Friday give you the strongest possible days on the Skagit — lighter pressure, better access, and more opportunity. Just reach out to me about availability. Check out my Salmon and Waterfowl pages for more detail on these trips.

  • Deposit policy: A $100 deposit is required to secure your date. Refundable if canceled at least 14 days before your trip.

  • Solo guests: Solo guests are always welcome. If another guest books the same date and you’re both comfortable sharing the boat, you’ll receive the two‑person rate.

  • Guide‑initiated cancellations: If I need to cancel due to weather, river conditions, or personal circumstances, we’ll move your trip to another open date or to the following season. If we can’t find a date that works, your deposit will be refunded.

  • Youth participation: I support youth involvement in the outdoors. When conditions allow, I may make an exception for a third participant under 18 at no extra charge — my way of helping the next generation get started.

  • Rates: All rates include sales tax and are for the 2026/2027 season. What you see is what you pay — no surprises at the end of your trip.
