Salmon fishing on the Skagit River brings strong seasonal runs that make each trip a great time. We target whatever species is in season and fishing well — coho, pinks, kings or sockeye. Each species brings its own pace, technique, and excitement.

I run Lamiglas Infinity rods made right here in Washington and Shimano Stradic reels to give you the best opportunity, feel, and fight when you hook a fish.

I support youth and family fishing! If conditions allow, I will gladly take a third angler under the age of 18 along for free. I can also accommodate younger children not yet able to fish for free as well.

Fall salmon fishing overlaps with duck hunting in Skagit Valley, making it a great time of year to experience both a hunt and a salmon trip.

Coho (Silvers) - Our robust fall coho season often runs from September thru December. These are a hard-fighting fish that provide a great experience for all anglers. This is my most favorite fishery on the Skagit.

Pinks (Humpies) - The pink salmon run occurs odd years only and starts in August. It brings in an enormous number of fish, meaning easy, constant action and super-fast limits.

Sockeye (Reds) - Sockeye is a steadily growing fishery from mid-June thru July. This is a good opportunity to catch these excellent-tasting fish.

Chinook (Kings) - The chinook season runs late April thru Mid-July. Chinook are big, powerful, early-season fish that test your gear and your grin.

Dolly Varden, Bull Trout & Steelhead - We incidentally catch a few dolly varden, bull trout, and steelhead (usually catch-and-release for all three). These add some fun, extra fights to the trips when you see them.
